A New Optimization Method for AGC Market Clearing Considering Energy Storage Systems

  • 摘要: 基于火电机组和储能系统在自动发电控制(AGC)调节上的互补特性,结合华北电网辅助服务补偿的实践,提出了一种储能系统参与AGC的优化配置方法。结合仿真工具,分析了火电与储能的AGC容量比例与对应的系统AGC控制效果的关系;进而在给定的全网AGC多运行目标下,应用线性规划模型,提出了一种对不同AGC电源的容量进行优化配置的建模方法。最后,以5机2储能系统的简化系统为例,对所提出的优化模型进行验证。算例结果表明,合理地利用储能系统将有助于在技术和经济两方面实现电力系统的AGC整体运行最优。

     

    Abstract: Considering the complementary characteristics of energy storage system(ESS)and thermal power unit on the automatic generation control(AGC)regulation,based on the AGC operational experience in North China Grid,an optimization method for allocating AGC capacity considering ESS is proposed.The relationship between capacity ratio of ESSs and thermal power units and overall system AGC performance are analyzed using AGC simulation tools.Based on the designated multiple AGC objectives at the system level,a modelling method for optimizing the AGC capacity of different types of AGC resources using a linear programming model is proposed as well.Finally,a simplified system including 5thermal power units and 2ESSs is used in the case study.Results of the case study indicate that appropriate utilization of ESS will better assist power system to realize the AGC optimal operation technically and economically.
