交直流混联电网工频变化量距离保护动作特性分析

Performance Analysis of Distance Protection Based on Industrial Frequency Variation Applied to AC-DC Hybrid Power Grid

  • 摘要: 分析了交直流混联电网中工频变化量距离保护的动作特性。换流站附近交流线路发生故障时,由于控制系统的快速调节,直流侧对外表现为弱电源系统,具有弱馈的特点。工频变化量距离保护的动作范围与系统等值阻抗和整定阻抗之比有关,该比值越大,保护动作范围就越小。因此,直流系统的存在会造成工频变化量距离保护动作范围大幅缩小甚至没有保护范围。最后,以实时数字仿真器试验数据验证了理论分析的正确性。

     

    Abstract: The performance of the distance protection based on industrial frequency variation in an AC-DC hybrid power grid is discussed.When faults occur on the AC transmission lines close to the converter station at the receiving or sending end,due to the impact of control system,the DC system has characteristics of a weak power source and its equivalent impedance is significant.The operation range of distance protection is closely related to the ratios of system equivalent impedance and setting impedance,and the smaller of the ratios,the larger of the protection operating range.Therefore,the operating range of distance protection reduces greatly and it can lead to the under-reach and even operating failure of the protection.Finally,the correctness of theoretical analysis is verified by the real time digital system experiment data.
