A New Wireless Time Synchronization Approach for Whole-view Test System in Smart Substation

  • 摘要: 智能变电站全场景试验方法是一种以无线通信实现数据传输和时钟同步的新型变电站试验方法。针对该系统中对数据同步触发以及时钟标签等需求,结合IEEE 1588精密时钟同步协议和IEEE 802.11标准,并考虑无线通信机制以及通信链路的特点,对现有同步对时方式进行改进,实现了一种基于无线局域网(WLAN)的时钟同步方法。仿真结果表明,文中所述方法有利于提高无线同步方法的对时精度。同时经过实测可知,该方法的同步精度可达±10μs。

     

    Abstract: The whole-view test method for smart substation is a new test approach in which data transmission and time synchronization are implemented with wireless communication.This paper proposes a new time synchronization method based on wireless local area networks(WLAN) to satisfy the demand of synchronized triggering of data and time labeling in the system.The proposed method is implemented by integrating IEEE 1588 precise time protocol and IEEE 802.11 WLAN standard considering the specialty of transmission mechanism and data link in wireless communication,thus current available time synchronization method is improved.Simulation result shows that the precision of wireless time synchronization can be improved up to ±10 μs.
