Key Technologies and Prospects of Energy Consumption Management for 5G Network in Background of Energy Internet

  • 摘要: 第五代移动通信(5G)网络基础设施建设逐步加快,绿色节能通信网络的构建关乎5G网络能否可持续发展。研究5G网络能耗管控技术,对于探究能源互联网背景下,分布式清洁能源系统、储能系统与需求响应在5G网络能耗管控中如何应用以实现节能减排具有重要意义。文中从基站能耗管控研究的模型、算法、技术路线等角度出发,以配置有能量收集装置的5G基站为基础,介绍和分析了5G网络能耗问题研究现状和5G网络能耗管控相关技术,并对能源互联网背景下5G通信网与电力网的联合电力流优化控制及其技术创新与应用进行了展望,以期通过5G网络能耗管控技术的协同应用降低5G网络运营商与电网运营商的运营成本,为绿色5G网络建设提供思路。

     

    Abstract: The infrastructure construction of the 5 th generation mobile communication(5G) network is gradually accelerating, and the construction of green and energy-saving communication networks is related to the sustainable development of 5G networks. In the background of Energy Internet, the research on energy consumption management technology of 5G networks is of great significance for exploring the application of distributed clean energy systems, energy storage systems and demand response in the energy consumption management of 5G networks to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction. Based on the 5G base stations equipped with energy harvesting devices, this paper describes the research status of energy consumption of 5G networks,and analyzes the related technologies of energy consumption management of 5G networks, from the perspectives of models,algorithms, and technical routes of research on the energy consumption management of the base station. The joint power flow optimization control of 5G networks and the power grid in the background of Energy Internet, and its technological innovation and application are prospected. The collaborative application of energy consumption management technology of 5G networks is expected to reduce the operation costs of 5G network operators and grid operators, which provides ideas for the construction of green 5G networks.
