Abstract:
The infrastructure construction of the 5 th generation mobile communication(5G) network is gradually accelerating, and the construction of green and energy-saving communication networks is related to the sustainable development of 5G networks. In the background of Energy Internet, the research on energy consumption management technology of 5G networks is of great significance for exploring the application of distributed clean energy systems, energy storage systems and demand response in the energy consumption management of 5G networks to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction. Based on the 5G base stations equipped with energy harvesting devices, this paper describes the research status of energy consumption of 5G networks,and analyzes the related technologies of energy consumption management of 5G networks, from the perspectives of models,algorithms, and technical routes of research on the energy consumption management of the base station. The joint power flow optimization control of 5G networks and the power grid in the background of Energy Internet, and its technological innovation and application are prospected. The collaborative application of energy consumption management technology of 5G networks is expected to reduce the operation costs of 5G network operators and grid operators, which provides ideas for the construction of green 5G networks.
