Three-phase PWM Current Source Rectifier Based on Dual Rectifier Bridges with Hybrid Switch

  • 摘要: 阐明了大功率三相脉宽调制(PWM)整流器对改善电能质量的重要意义。提出了适用于大功率场合的基于混合开关的双重整流桥电流型PWM整流器拓扑。该整流器采用晶闸管和可控开关管组成具有PWM功能的三相电流型整流器,在降低大功率整流器成本的同时达到降低输入电网的电流谐波和控制直流侧功率的目的。分析了该整流器的工作原理,通过分析总结了电路的工作频率与晶闸管的关断特性、网侧电流谐波畸变率以及电路输出电压范围之间的关系,为设计该新型整流器提供理论依据。实验结果证明该整流器的网侧电流总谐波畸变率小于5%。

     

    Abstract: The importance of three-phase pulse width modulation(PWM) converter for improving power quality is clarified.And a powerful three-phase PWM current source rectifier based on dual rectifier bridges with hybrid switch is proposed.This rectifier uses silicon controlled rectifiers(SCR or thyristors) and controllable switches as well,to compose three-phase current source rectifier with PWM function.It can reduce cost of the high power rectifier meanwhile decrease input current total harmonic distortion(THD) and in favor of DC power control.The operation principle of this rectifier is also analyzed.The relationships between the working frequency of the circuit and the turn-off characteristic of the SCR,THD of the line current and the output voltage range are plotted,thus it provides the guidance of the novel rectifier design.The experimental results verify that THD of line current of the rectifier is less than 5%.
