Abstract:
The influence of power capacity factor on congestion costs is analyzed from the angle of capacity constraint, load level and generation type.According to the incorporation of the power output duration curve in the transmission long-run incremental cost(T-LRIC)pricing model,a novel approach for pricing of transmission network with wind farms based on T-LRIC model is proposed, with the nodal power perturbation to network incremental cost taken into account. This model can further quantitatively analyze the power nodal charges with wind farms, reflect the contribution of capacity constraints, load level and generation features to the system, while effectively distinguishing the charges under similar capacity factors. The effectiveness of the model proposed is verified by analysis and calculation on a 3-bus system and IEEE 30-bus system.
