An Analysis Method to Evaluate Damping Characteristics of Excitation Systems in Low Frequency Oscillation Process

  • 摘要: 基于相量测量装置(PMU)实测数据,通过对励磁电流振荡分量和机组转速(频率)振荡分量进行相关性分析,提出了一种机组振荡过程中励磁系统(含主控制和附加控制)整体阻尼特性的计算方法。该方法不依赖于励磁系统及其控制参数的准确性。实际算例表明,所述方法能够检验励磁系统及其控制参数的合理性,并为负阻尼低频振荡源的定位分析和控制提供可靠参考。

     

    Abstract: Based on phasor measurement unit(PMU) measurements and by applying correlation analysis of oscillating components of excitation current and rotor speed(frequency),an online analysis method is proposed for evaluating overall damping characteristics of excitation system(including main control and additional control) in the process of low frequency oscillations.The method is independent of the accuracy of excitation system and its control systems’ models.Actual examples recorded by wide area measurement system(WAMS) show that,the method proposed can verify the rationality of the excitation system and its control parameters,and provide reliable reference for the disturbance source location analysis and control of negative-damping low frequency oscillations.
