Abstract:
In recent years, adiabatic compressed air energy storage technology has attracted extensive attention. In order to design the adiabatic compressed air energy storage, it is necessary to study its technical scheme and parameters. Firstly, the calculation model of the compressed air energy storage system is proposed and verified. Then, taking a 300 MW medium temperature compressed air energy storage system with a rock cavern as the gas storage chamber as a case study, the optimal plan is selected with a turbine inlet pressure of 17 MPa and a pressure variation range of 6 MPa. Based on the calculation of operating parameters, the design scheme of a 300 MW medium temperature adiabatic compressed air energy storage thermal system is obtained. The modeling process and analysis method proposed can be used for the design of the adiabatic compressed air energy storage projects.
