Abstract:
In order to optimize the configuration of high-capacity external HVDC with receiving grid at the context of new power systems, reduce the short-circuit current input, and improve the adaptability and compatibility of the grid. A design method of multi-terminal receiving hybrid DC model connecting to power grid was proposed based on the Anhui NO.2 HVDC project. This paper analyzes the main structural differences between the multi-terminal hybrid flexible converters and conventional DC converters. Researching the effects of connecting to the receiving power network on enhancing the power support between different poles, and short circuit current control. The simulation system was built based on PSD-BPA, and the theoretical research content was verified by electromechanical transient simulation. Lastly, the research conclusion was given.
