Abstract:
At present, the most widely used soil resistivity testing method is the symmetrical quadrupole method(Wenner method). The test results of this method are relatively accurate and the operation process is simple. However, most of Xinjiang has an inland arid climate, with dry strata and alternating saltation., the surface soil resistivity is much greater than the normal formation, and the soil conditions at the test site are complex. During the test process, testers usually encounter various problems that prevent normal testing. Obviously, the data obtained in this way cannot be used in later design calculations., therefore, raise these common problems and find related solutions.
