Abstract:
Safety signs play an important role in the operation, maintenance and overhaul of the distribution network. The safety instructions and warnings of overhead lines, cables, power distribution equipment, etc.rely on the different forms of traditional colored paint for identification, which are invisible at night, faded and not obvious after several years of operation. This article reviews the current problems in the use of safety signs in distribution networks, and discusses the long persistence luminescent to demonstrate that the materials will not weaken the light intensity with the extension of use time, and have obvious durability. The production technology of long afterglow luminescent materials is analyzed and its safety is discussed. And the price of the sign was investigated. On this basis,a long persistence luminescent powder was synthesized, and a B-phase phase sequence brand was produced, and the afterglow intensity time visible to the naked eye was tested. The above research and investigation results show that the signs made of long afterglow luminescent materials are completely suitable for wide application in the distribution network.
