Abstract:
Jinwan offshore wind farm is the first large-scale offshore wind farm project constructed in the greater bay area under a EPC model. The annual average wind speed of this project is low,the design extreme wind speed is high, and the impact of typhoon is great. The wind farm is located in the greater bay area, where the use of sea areas is complex and there are many stakeholders. The area in which it is located has the characteristics of short construction windows and large single pile foundations for wind turbines.Through optimized design, and overcomes the shortage of wind turbine supply, shortage of ship engine resources, and frequent typhoons in the south China sea, finally it took nearly 22 months to successfully complete and connect to the grid with full capacity.
