Abstract: Fire prevention-related regulations are among the important bases for substation design. In practice, there are contradictions and disputes between some customary practices involving fire prevention measures and the provisions of the current regulations, and even between the relevant provisions of different regulations. Combined with the analysis on the new version of fire prevention-related regulations and the actual engineering applications, discussions and suggestions are made on electrical fire prevention measures of for substations, so as to make the fire protection measures of substations meet the specification requirements.
