Abstract: The typical problems occurred in the application of heptfluoride propane fire extinguishing system in power plants are introduced, the analyses are performed from five aspects including calculations of combined distribution system design, selection of design parameters, changes of gas fire extinguishing system, operation of selective valves and system maintenance, and solutions are proposed, which may serve as reference in the engineering application of heptfluoride propane fire extinguishing system.
