Abstract: This article mainly analyzes and investigates into the causes of valve rupture caused by the fluctuations in firefighting water supply pipeline system of hydropower stations, and proposes an idea for improvement solution, puts forward the rational configuration of pressure relief valves and supplemental gas exhaust valves to modify the original inappropriate design, and discusses in detail the schedule and safety measures for the retrofit of the firefighting water pipeline.
