Abstract: As switchgear is an important factor to ensure the normal operation of a substation, it is necessary to analyze the causes of switchgear failures in substation and set up the specific prevention and treatment schemes so as to control the impact of failure at the minimum. Analysis is deeply carried out on the causes of equipment failures in substation, and the methods of equipment failure treatment are studied so as to reduce the probability of equipment failure and ensure the operation quality of substation.
