Abstract:
To solve the problems such as strong subjectivity in camera layout and difficulty in the acceptance of point configuration for further, a method for optimizing camera configuration in substations is proposed based on laser point cloud data and 3D visual domain analysis. The method is proposed to model substation equipment by laser point cloud technology, and use a three-dimensional visual domain analysis algorithm to intelligently generate a camera installation and layout selection plan in line with the configuration standards of intelligent inspection points for substation equipment, achieving automatic and refined layout of remote inspection cameras in substations. In contrast to the traditional layout methods, the optimized layout scheme features fewer cameras to be invested as well as higher point coverage rate and redundant coverage rate.
