Abstract:
The operating environment of photovoltaic power stations is relatively harsh and of the profound structure of photovoltaic collection lines, leading to frequent faults in collection lines. Starting with the introduction of traveling wave current and traveling wave method-based fault location, studies are conducted on the traveling wave current characteristics of faults that are prone to occur in photovoltaic collection lines. The traveling wave current characteristics of successive faults are classified, and an algorithm for extracting the traveling wave current characteristics of faults is proposed for quickly identifying the causes of faults when photovoltaic collection lines fail again so as to ensure the stable operation of the lines.
