Abstract: With the development of smart grid construction,power grid business presents a diversified development trend. The monitoring system of substation should be able to carry all kinds of application functions in a more flexible and reliable way to meet the needs of power grid monitoring,control and management. But at present,the products of various manufacturers still use the traditional software architecture. The platforms and applications are bundled with each other,and the applications are not compatible with each other.Therefore,this paper proposes an advanced,open and standard substation monitoring system to meet the current platform,open IT technology concept.
