Abstract:
With the rapid development of national digital infrastructure construction, the energy consumption problem caused by the rapid growth of data center scale has been widely concerned by the whole society. As the computing power of the server continues to increase and the integration density continues to increase, it is faced with the problem of lack of accurate measurement and prediction of actual operation power, which results in a great waste of cabinet and energy resources in the process of planning, design and operation of data center. This paper studies and analyzes the relationship between the composition of the main power components of the server and the power consumption of the CPU, memory, and storage components under different service loads, and proposes a method to simulate di?erent load services, and builds a server test platform based on the simulation method. The results show that the test method can well simulate the di?erent load characteristics of the server, which is of great signifcance to accurately test the server load, and has guiding signifcance for the energy-saving planning and operation and maintenance of the data center.
