Abstract:
The accurate evaluation of the total installed capacity of rooftop photovoltaic(PV) helps guide the planning of the distribution network and the rational layout of rooftop PV. This paper proposes a method to evaluate the distributed rooftop PV hosting capacity of the distribution network based on high definition satellite map images. Firstly, Deeplabv3+ model is used to automatically identify the rooftop part in the high definition satellite map images, measure the installed PV capacity of the rooftop, determine the operating parameters of the newly generated common information model(CIM) of rooftop PV, and implement digital modeling of the distribution network based on CIM and high definition satellite map images. Finally, the paper uses Monte Carlo simulation method to evaluate the distributed rooftop PV hosting capacity of the distribution network. By using a distribution network system in a region for simulation and comparing it with the existing traditional hosting capacity assessment methods, it proves the efficiency and practicality of the proposed method, which can provide important data support for power companies to develop reasonable PV grid connection plans and implement reliable grid structure upgrades.
