Energy Consumption Analysis and Current Situation and Trend of Information Infrastructure

  • 摘要: 随着国家数字新基建等项目的实施,信息化基础设施建设加快,以5G、数据中心为代表的新一代信息通信技术因其巨大的能耗需求对电网规划和运行带来不可忽视的挑战。详细了解信息基础设施能耗是科学应对电力和电量需求增长的基础工作,是进行电网规划和电网灵活运行调度的依据。为此,文章从信息基础设施的概念、组成和分类入手,详细分析了5G基站和数据中心等典型信息基础设施的能耗现状,并考虑技术进步对能耗的影响,分析给出未来5到10年能耗趋势,在此基础上完成典型信息基础设施的能耗预测,分析和预测结果可为电网考虑信息基础设施负荷影响提供参考。

     

    Abstract: With the implementation of new national digital infrastructure projects and the acceleration of information infrastructure construction, the new generation of information and communication technology represented by 5G and data center brings nonnegligible challenges to power grid planning and operation due to its huge energy consumption demand. Detailed analysis of energy consumption of information infrastructure is the basis of scientific response to power growth and power demand, and is the basis of power grid planning and flexible operation. Therefore, starting with the concept, composition and classification of information infrastructure, this paper analyzes the energy consumption status of typical information infrastructure such as 5G base station and data center in detail, considers the influence of technological progress on energy consumption, analyzes and gives the energy consumption trend in the next 5 to 10 years, and gives the energy consumption prediction of typical information infrastructure on this basis. The analysis and prediction results can be used as a reference for considering the load influence of information infrastructure in power grid.
