超级电容作为核电厂应急柴油发电机组启动期间后备电源的可行性研究

Feasibility Study of the Super Capacitor as the Backup Power Supply during the Start-up of the Emergency Diesel Generator in Nuclear Power Plant

  • 摘要: 核电厂应急柴油发电机组随着容量的不断增大,已越来越难以满足应急工况下10 s内快速启动的要求。超级电容作为一项新兴的储能技术,具有传统储能技术不可比拟的短时间内快速放电能力。本文提出了将超级电容作为核电厂应急柴油发电机组启动期间后备中压电源的设计方案,以延缓应急工况下对于应急柴油发电机组快速启动的时间要求,有效提高应急柴油发电机组启动的可靠性。本文从超级电容的容量核算、系统规模、设备布置和经济性方面探讨了该方案的可行性。

     

    Abstract: With the increasing capacity of the emergency diesel generator(EDG) in nuclear power plant, it is more and more difficult to meet the requirements of rapid start-up within 10 seconds under emergency conditions. As a new energy storage technology, super capacitor has the ability of discharging rapidly in a short time which is unmatched by traditional energy storage technology. In this paper, super capacitor is designed as the backup medium voltage power supply during the start-up of EDG in nuclear power plant, so as to postpone the time required for the rapid start-up of EDG under emergency conditions and effectively improve the start-up reliability of EDG. This paper discusses the feasibility of the scheme from the aspects of capacity accounting, system scheme, equipment layout and economy of the super capacitor.
