Abstract:
This paper applies the Probabilistic Safety Assessment(PSA) technique to quantitatively analyze the safety risks of a nuclear power plant under various shutdown standard conditions, and 16 types of initiating events under shutdown standard conditions are analyzed. Based on foreign nuclear power experience, five key safety functions are analyzed in details. Based on the risk insight of PSA and the results of shutdown safety risk analysis, the shutdown risk management procedures have been compiled, and a series of management improvement actions have been formulated, which have been applied in several major outages, achieving good results, and can provide certain reference for the risk management of other nuclear power plants during outages.
