The Role of Nuclear in China's Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Course

  • 摘要: 本文综述当前全球基于化石能源的能源结构存在的不可持续、气候变化影响巨大的问题,介绍了全球碳中和路径的基本方面。着重说明了中国实现“碳达峰、碳中和”目标的主要任务、存在的困难及路径选择。重点讨论了核能在中国能源结构转型及实现碳中和过程中的地位和作用,介绍了山东核电通过核能综合利用助力碳中和方面的探索实践。文章最后对我国核能行业未来发展提出若干建议。

     

    Abstract: This paper reviewed the unsustainable and climate-relevant nature of the current global energy structure which is based on fossil energy,introduced the basic aspects of the global carbon neutrality paths.It focused on the main tasks,difficulties and path selection for China to achieve the goal of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality”. It emphasized on the status and role of nuclear in the transformation of China’s energy structure and the realization of carbon neutrality,and described the exploration and practice of Shandong Nuclear Power Company in promoting carbon neutrality through the comprehensive utilization of nuclear.Finally,this paper offered some suggestions for the future development of nuclear industry in China.
