Study Progress on Structural Design Improvement of Uranium Dioxide Pellets

  • 摘要: 二氧化铀芯块的性能关系着核电厂的安全经济运行,其性能改进与提升受到了核燃料行业的持续关注。除工艺优化、掺杂改良之外,芯块的结构设计改进也是提升性能的重要方向。通过对二氧化铀芯块结构设计改进研究的综述,简要评述各改进方向的设计特点和性能提升情况,并在此基础上展望二氧化铀芯块结构设计改进的未来发展趋势。

     

    Abstract: The performance of uranium dioxide pellets is important to the economical and safety operation of nuclear power plants, and nuclear fuel industry pays attention to the improvement on fuel performance, such as the optimization of manufacture and the study on doped fuel. In addition, structural design optimization is an important way to enhance fuel performance. This paper makes a briefly review on fuel design characteristics which can improve fuel performance based on serious study and comprehensive summary, and gives a development trend on pellet structural design which could be performed in the future.
