Abstract: Fire Action Instruction for Operator（FAIOp） are operating procedures, in addition to SOP（State Orientation Procedures）, used to reach a safe shutdown state in case of a confirmed fire in a SFV（Safety Fire Volume） in specific operating conditions. For the purpose of developing the FAIOp for Yangjiang NPP, the structure, contents, interface with other procedures are studied, and a developing process is identified considering the state-of-art of Yangjiang NPP fire protection design. Following the process, a batch of FAIOp is developed.
