Abstract:
In this paper, the effects of the gas phase flow rate and the system pressure on the aerosol purification efficiency of the Venturi scrubber in the containment filtration and discharge system were discussed by combining CFD numerical simulation with experiments, and some guiding suggestions were put forward for the operation of the system. It is concluded that the ejection capacity of the Venturi scrubber can be improved with the increase of the gas phase flow rate and the system pressure in the range of 0~20 m/s and 0.1~0.6 MPa system pressure, and the increase the of ejection volume can promote the improvement of the aerosol purification efficiency. The study shows that the purification efficiency reaches the maximum after the flow rate is 16 m/s(that is, the discharge is 3 519 m~3/h), and it is suggested that the system discharge air volume should be kept above 3 519 m~3/h.
