Abstract:
The cavitation phenomenon is an important research content in the field of nuclear engineering, and cylindrical bubble dynamics is one of the leading directions. In this paper, the research progress of the cylindrical bubble is reviewed from both theoretical and experimental aspects. Firstly, based on the basic equations of fluid mechanics, three typical cylindrical bubble dynamic equations are derived in detail. Then, the three dynamic equations are compared, and their differences in the equation form and application range are pointed out. In addition, the influence of some important parameters on the prediction results of the equation is also analyzed. In terms of experimental research, this paper presents several typical high-speed photographs of the cylindrical bubble and the variation of bubble radius over time. By comparing the experimental results with the theoretical results, it is found that they have a good agreement.
