Electron Beam Radiation Sterilization for Three Kinds of Sports Equipment

  • 摘要: 辐照灭菌作为核技术应用的一个重要领域,为人类健康作出了巨大贡献。将其推广至更多应用场景可助推核技术的快速发展,为人民生活带来更多便捷。本文选取3种常见运动器材进行研究,利用生物负载信息建立了辐照灭菌剂量,并利用电子加速器装置进行了辐照灭菌工艺的验证。结果证明16.7~20.3 kGy的辐照剂量可使产品达到灭菌效果,辐照加工时使用双面辐照的方式,剂量的不均匀度在1.35~1.41。在疫情防控常态化的背景下采用辐照技术对运动器材进行消毒灭菌处理是一个很好的选择。

     

    Abstract: Radiation sterilization is an important application of nuclear technology and it has made great contributions to human health. Extending the application in more fields can promote the development of nuclear technology and bring more convenience to people’s lives. We selected three common sports equipment for radiation sterilization study. The sterilization dose was established using bioburden information, and then the radiation process was verified on an electron beam accelerator. The results show that the absorbed dose of 16.7~20.3 kGy can achieve the result of disinfection. Using double-sided irradiation method could make the dose uniformity ratio between 1.35 and 1.41. In the context of regular epidemic prevention and control, it is a good choice to apply the radiation sterilization to sports equipment.
