Abstract: As an important part of power system, the opening and closing of circuit breaker plays a vital role in the stability of power system. SF6 circuit breaker has good arc extinguishing and insulation performance, and has been widely used at present. Therefore, when SF6 circuit breaker opens and closes under low pressure, it will expand the power outage range and affect the reliability of power supply. This time, through the analysis of a breaker SF6 low-pressure locking opening/closing fault, the principle of breaker low-pressure locking opening/closing and the corresponding fault treatment measures are studied, which can provide help for the personnel engaged in substation operation.
