Abstract: In the live maintenance of substations,How to safely and efficiently develop the tap-off line of disconnecting switch and connecting Busbar side disconnecting switch has become an important technical problem in substation maintenance work. This paper mainly aims at the structural characteristics and layout of 110-220kV bus-side isolating switches in substations, and the specification, type, arrangement and connection mode of the Busbar side isolator drain line are put forward. The operation method of using insulated bucket arm car with hard ladder live cut-off and connecting the drain line is put forward, the key steps and safety precautions of this operation method are explained in detail, which provides technical support and safety guarantee for solving the problem of live-off and connection operation of 110-220 kv bus-side isolating switch in substation.
