Abstract:
In recent years, with the successive construction of large-scale steel cooling towers, the stress characteristics of the foundations have also attracted much attention. Based on the FEA technology, the temperature distribution and temperature force under shallow burial of the ring base are analyzed for a steel cooling tower. And It is pointed out that the ring base is mainly affected by temperature load. A method for analyzing the temperature distribution of ring base has be proposed. Furthermore, It is clarified that the force of ring base under the action of temperature is mainly affected by the restraint stiffness, which can provide reference for engineers and technicians.
