Abstract:
Public wireless network has been widely utilized in power distribution communication due to its benefits of ease deployment and flexible coverage. This paper proposes a reliability enhancement scheme for remote control services in power distribution, and verifies its effectiveness through experiments in practical power distribution scenarios. The scheme utilizes double network based dual-mode to achieve dual network availability, and thus introduces the redundancy in the operation of public wireless communications, which would increase the online ratio of the power distribution terminals. Experiments are conducted to remotely control FTUs in practical power lines, and the results demonstrate expected performance.
