The Application and Assessment of Smart Technologies for Batch Control of Load Dispatching

  • Abstract: Smart technologies for batch control of load dispatching are proposed based on D5000 systems, which helps to do the fast and accurate removal of the designated large-capacity load in case of over supplying and emergent load curtailing. The overall framework and operation flow were also provided. By integrating several key technologies including load control permissions, intelligent anti-misoperation, automatic line selection and parallel processing mechanism, the functions that autonomously switch between multiple interfaces, automatically screen out the controllable load lines, optimize the anti-misoperation mechanism and speed up the batch control operation, were realized successfully. Besides, the anti-entropy weight method was adopted to analyze the requirements on safety, accuracy, speed and friendliness of batch load removal under emergent operation cases. The practical simulation examples show that smart technologies for batch control of load dispatching is effective and valuable in following aspects: ensuring safe and stable operation of the power grid, minimizing the social influences brought about by load control, further extending the intelligent and practical level of D5000 systems, and so on.
