Abstract:
In recent years, distribution companies have employed specialized software such as PMS 2.0 for the 10. PMS 2.0 has been widely adopted for the power grids in most cities of China with the great promotion of State Grid. Because of the heavy construction and operation tasks in distribution networks, the changes in reality need to be exactly reflected in the graphical interfaces of PMS 2.0 in time. The correct and up-to-date graphical interfaces can give full assistance for distribution network operation and maintenance. However, the distribution networks’ graph modification tasks cannot always keeping up with the operation and construction on the real networks, because of miscommunication among departments, slow auditing procedures and plan adjustments. Thus, this paper tries to introduce the process management theories to distribution networks’ graph modification tasks in PMS 2.0 software. The whole processes of the graph modification tasks have been identified and the key processes resulted in delay release have also been carefully discussed. Then, this paper reconstructs the processes for the graph modification and gives correction proposal to improve the key processes. The process management has been applied to practice and achieved good results.
