Abstract:
With the development of power electronics technology and the promotion both on the power supply and load side, distributed energy will gradually transform into access to the network through connecting to an AC-DC hybrid microgrid. This change will significantly change the structure of the power grid, bring new challenges to the design of control and protection system for microgrid, and put forward new requirements for simulation and test methods. This paper starts with the control objects and functions of different levels of the microgrid control system, and proposes a typical design method of the control system and corresponding performance parameters. By dividing the grid-connected DC microgrid into three types of control nodes, the corresponding simulation model subsystems are set up, and a RTDS simulation test platform is established in a modular design manner. Based on the test platform, a closed-loop test of the microgrid control system is performed and test results confirm the performance of control system.
