A Design to Improve Efficiency of Capacitive Divider Energy Harvesting Power Supply

  • Abstract: The capacitive divider energy harvesting power supply has been applied to the detection and protection device of the distribution network, but there are still problems of small output power. In order to solve this problem, a combination of LC parallel resonance and high power factor AC-DC converter is proposed. The selection of the resonant capacitance and the influence of the transformer parameter design on the output power are analyzed in detail, and the hardware parameters of the circuit are designed. Through computer simulation and experimental test, the output power is increased, and the output power can be 4.9W under the condition that the voltage divider is 3300PF and the transformer is 1000V.
