Abstract:
With the deepening of the electricity marketization process, competition in the electricity market has been intensified, new relations and new issues between different market players will surely emerge, thus corresponding legal system will be needed to consolidate and standardize the operation of the market. This paper combing with the U.S. electricity marketing process, taking key laws and orders, electricity market structure and specific electricity market rules as research objects, legislation of different market stages and the relationship between the development of electricity market and the construction of the legal system are analyzed in this paper. Base on the reformation of China’s electricity market, the paper puts forward some suggestions on the legal framework of the China’s electricity market.
