A short term load forecasting by considering heat island effect factor based on IGA-ELM model

Abstract: This paper proposes a load forecasting method based on an improved genetic algorithm(IGA) to optimize the extreme learning machine(ELM). For the first time, the factor of the heat island effect(HIE) is added to carry out short-term load forecasting, which has good prediction accuracy.
