Abstract:
To achieve the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, coal-fired coupled sludge power generation is one of the effective ways for traditional thermal power units. The clean disposal and resource utilization of urban sludge could be realized. Compared with raw coal, urban sludge has the characteristics of higher moisture, higher ash content and lower calorific value. The appropriate sludge blending method should be selected according to comprehensive factors of sludge quality characteristics, sludge treatment capacity, unit design type and so on. A performance test of a 1000MW coal-fired boiler mixed with sludge of 40% water content was carried out. The sludge mixing ratio is controlled at 10%. The results show that the calorific value of mixed fuel is reduced by 9.0%. The acid dew point of flue gas is increased by 1.1℃. The flow rate of flue gas is increased by 1.6%. The boiler efficiency is reduced by 0.12%. The impact on the boiler operation, desulfurization, denitrification, dust collector and other flue gas purification facilities could be ignored. The flue gas pollutants and heavy metals can reach the discharge standard. The project is of great significance to local environmental governance, energy conservation and protection of land resources. Coal-fired coupled sludge power generation has good social and economic benefits.
