Abstract: By introducing the practical case of building energy saving and carbon reduction technology application in a certain area of Guangzhou, the carbon emission generated by building energy consumption is simply analyzed. Then, the practical application of new wall materials, reasonable design of building structures, energy saving measures of mechanical and electrical equipment in regional building energy saving and carbon reduction technology is adopted, and these methods are organically combined to make important contributions to regional building safety, energy saving, environmental protection, carbon reduction and sustainable development. Practice shows that the application of building energy saving and carbon reduction technology in this region plays a certain obvious role in energy saving and carbon reduction in the region, has great practical value, and can be popularized.
