Abstract:
In this paper, two kinds of bonding systems of leading edge shell was studied. The experimental results show that: for the two bonding systems of pressure-sensitive adhesive and epoxy adhesive, the peel strength of the epoxy adhesive system is obviously higher than that of the pressure-sensitive adhesive. After environmental fatigue, the two bonding systems showed different trends. For the pressure-sensitive adhesive system, the peeling performance decreased by 30% after UV aging, and the bonding performance was basically unchanged after other environmental fatigue. For the epoxy adhesive, after various environmental fatigue, the peel strength of the system has been reduced but still maintained a relatively high level, and there is basically no attenuation after aging. Two bonding systems have no significant impact on rain erosion performance. Although the adhesive performance of epoxy adhesive is outstanding, it will face the problem of replacement after the shell is damaged. It is a relatively big challenge, which requires our special attention.
