Abstract: Neutral point arrester is an important part of neutral point equipment of main transformer, which is mainly used for overvoltage protection of secondary side (low voltage side) neutral point of indoor and outdoor voltage transformers and box transformers to prevent lightning overvoltage from invading the secondary circuit and causing damage to the secondary circuit equipment. The fault of neutral arrester will affect the stable operation of other equipment and the stable operation of power grid. Therefore, this paper introduces a fault analysis of neutral point arrester on 35kV side of 110kV#2 main transformer.
