Abstract: The complex terrain and geomorphic environment of MENGZI City, coupled with natural factors such as climate conditions, makes the inspection of power lines not easy. The traditional manual inspection has many environmental disturbances such as low efficiency and geography and climate. UAV automatic patrol inspection technology has the advantages of high altitude, long distance, high efficiency and self operation ability. It is not affected by geographical factors, crosses mountains and rivers, and is flexible. From the perspective of patrol efficiency of overhead lines of distribution network, the application of UAV automatic patrol inspection solves the problem of low efficiency.
