Abstract:
For the traditional generator excitation carbon brush spare parts, using the maintenance opportunity of the unit, using sandpaper with generator brush holder and slip ring to manually pull the sandpaper to grind the carbon brush, so that the contact surface of the carbon brush and slip ring can reach more than 80% of the requirements, in order to meet the excitation carbon brush replacement regulations. However, this method is time-consuming and labor-intensive, and the contact surface of some grinding spare carbon brushes still cannot reach the contact area required by the regulations, and the quality and efficiency are not high. In this paper, according to the long-term accumulated experience of the generator excitation carbon brush overhaul and maintenance, a set of generator carbon brush efficient grinding device is designed and developed, which realizes the double improvement of the quality and efficiency of the generator standby excitation carbon brush, and provides better safety guarantee for the generator excitation carbon brush overhaul and maintenance.
The device is composed of three parts: base, brush holder, brush grip, grinding and guide rail cylinder, which can solve the hidden dangers of slow grinding speed and sub-standard contact area of traditional generator standby excitation carbon brush, which may lead to the generator slip ring overtemperature affecting the safe and stable operation of the generator, and greatly improve the working efficiency of the generator excitation carbon brush overhaul and maintenance. To provide a better guarantee for the safe and stable operation of the generator.
