Abstract: With the continuous development of various technologies in recent years, the operation and inspection work mode of overhead transmission lines has undergone significant changes. The continuous development of drone technology has significantly improved the efficiency, quality, and safety of transmission line inspection work, especially in the context of the increasing danger and hidden danger risks of overhead transmission lines. The protection pressure has also increased, and traditional inspection work models are difficult to meet actual protection needs. At the same time, the pressure of inspection workers on transmission line inspection work is also constantly increasing. From the perspective of overhead transmission line management, the introduction of drone technology can achieve high-quality and efficient operation and inspection of the line, which is conducive to solving related problems such as information asymmetry in operation and inspection. This article takes drone technology as an example to briefly analyze the intelligent operation and inspection of overhead transmission lines, hoping to provide assistance for relevant workers.
