Abstract:
The grounding of power equipment casing is an important guarantee for the safe operation of the power system. It can not only reduce the insulation level of electrical equipment, protect grounding, prevent static interference, detect grounding faults, and prevent electromagnetic interference, but also safely carry out functional grounding, equipotential bonding, and working grounding in the power system. At present, power grounding devices are generally installed underground and on equipment structures, buried deep in the soil or exposed to the atmospheric environment for operation all year round. The operating environment is harsh and prone to corrosion. Once the grounding device is corroded, it will increase its grounding resistance and reduce its conductivity, Severe corrosion can even cause the grounding device to break and fail. This article mainly analyzes the main reasons for the fracture of the grounding flat iron at the entry point, proposes targeted solutions and implements them on site to ensure the reliable grounding of the power equipment casing and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
