Analysis and preventive measures of a wind turbine collapse in a wind farm

  • 摘要: 某风电场风机在运行中发生倒塔,通过对风机倒塔现场进行勘查,对风机运行数据、故障记录、维护记录等资料进行分析,认为塔筒第二节塔节底部与法兰焊接处焊缝存在焊接缺陷,缺陷在风机运行载荷的作用下发生疲劳扩展出现裂纹,裂纹扩展至最后阶段,塔筒断口处强度不足以承受外力,从而发生塔筒折断、风机倒塔。针对该风机倒塔事件暴露出的塔筒制造缺陷排查、风机运行、检修维护方面存在的问题,提出了风机在后续监视运行、检修维护工作中的完善建议和预防措施。

     

    Abstract: A wind turbine tower collapse occurred when working in a wind farm. Through the investigation of the site of the wind turbine collapse, and the analysis of operating data, fault records and maintenance records, it is considered that there were welding defects in the seam between the bottom of the second section of the tower and the flange. The defects expanded and cracks appeared under the operating load of wind turbine. Due to the continued expansion of the cracks, the strength of the fracture of the tower was not enough to withstand the external force, resulting in the break of the tower and the collapse of the wind turbine. In view of the problems existing in the investigation of the manufacturing defects, operation and maintenance of the wind turbine, some suggestions and preventive measures for the subsequent monitoring operation and maintenance work are put forward.
