Abstract: In order to explore the development direction of intelligent substation in China Southern Power Grid，China Southern Power Grid built sixteen pilot intelligent substation. Huizhou 110kV Wisdom substation is the fisrt pilot intelligent substation which uses merging unti, small relay protection, delay accumulation technology of process level switches and other options. In order to improve construction efficiency of the substation and make operation and maintenance convenient. This substation has played a guiding role in the construction of intelligent substation in China Southern Power Grid.
